Before you print it
If your conference badge code may ever need to point somewhere else, create it as a dynamic QR code you can edit after printing. vCard saves straight to contacts and works offline; LinkedIn creates the living connection. Attendee badges usually do best with vCard, staff badges with a company or booth page.
Can we generate 800 badges at once?

Registrations keep arriving the morning of the event - how do we handle late badges?
Run the bulk generator again with just the late rows and print that small batch on site. The CSV in, ZIP out flow does not care whether the file has eight hundred rows or eight, so a walk-up desk can produce badges in the same format as the pre-printed stack. Keep the same column layout as your first export so the badge template does not need reworking.
Should the exhibitor code be on staff badges or on the booth backdrop?
Both, pointing at different destinations. The backdrop code catches people who walked past and did not want to talk, so it should open the product or demo page, while the staff badge code belongs to a conversation that already happened and works better as a vCard or a follow-up page. Separate codes mean the scan counts tell you how much of your booth traffic was hallway curiosity versus real conversations.
