Codes linking to product info are common on beer packaging, but label rules vary by country and state - run new label artwork past your usual label-approval process.
Can I print codes on cans and growler tags that outlive the beer inside?
Yes, and dynamic is the right choice for packaging. A can that sits in a fridge for six months still scans to a page you control, so when the batch is gone you repoint that code at the current release or your beer finder instead of a dead page. Print the code from the SVG so it stays crisp at label size, and keep clear space around it since curved cans give scanners less to work with.
Will a code on a table tent still scan in low taproom lighting?
Usually yes, because phone cameras compensate, but contrast is what saves you. Use dark modules on a light background rather than your brand colours on a dark tent, print it at least 3 cm across for table distance, and leave a white margin. Glossy laminate is the more common failure: it throws glare from overhead lights, so matte finish scans more reliably.
Can I see how many people scanned it?
