Can I set a fixed amount in the QR code?
Yes. PayPal.Me links accept an amount, e.g. paypal.me/yourname/25 for $25. Encode that URL and the buyer only has to confirm.
What if I change my PayPal username later?
With a static code you'd reprint everything. With a dynamic code you edit the destination once and every printed copy follows.
Can I put the code on invoices and still know it was paid?
The payment itself is confirmed in PayPal, not here, so reconciliation stays in your PayPal account. What the code adds is scan analytics: you can see how many people opened the payment page and when, which tells you whether an unpaid invoice was ever looked at. Use a separate dynamic code per invoice batch or client if you want that split out.
